Nearfield Instruments

In the semiconductor industry speed and quality are everything. Nearfield’s QUADRA system enables manufacturers to assess and monitor the quality of processed wafers with high throughput. To optimise the measurements by their device, software is used to research and setup optimised or specialised assessments.

As a consultant via ALTEN, I guided a product team towards a product development proces that incorporated the feedback of its expert end-users allowing them to make reasoned decisions. I helped the team gain many insights through iterating with design-mockups before the actual build. During the build, I supported the external development team with hands-on advice and small design alterations to speed-up production.
